The pigment
Produced by Greek and Middle Eastern varieties of oak, Rhus semialata, or nutgall, is rich in gallic acid, which produces a pigment still used today to dye wool for traditional carpets.
This pigment is renowned for its incredible biological qualities.
A virtuous formula
- Shea butter: repairing and nourishing*
- Apricot, sunflower and castor oil: conditioning* and antioxidant qualities
- Plant-based rice bran, candelilla and carnauba waxes: softening and protecting*
